Supporting Safer Routes to School

DDEC was proud to attend the Safe Routes to School Workshop hosted by the Palm Beach MPO. The workshop brought together local partners to discuss school safety, walk-bike audits, and strategies to improve how students and families get to school safely.
We were also glad to hear from guest speaker Dan Burden, whose decades of work in walkability and Safe Routes to School added valuable perspective to the conversation.
At DDEC, we value opportunities like this that support safer, more connected communities for students and families across Palm Beach County.
