MiCa Meets Music: A Carpool Karaoke Experience on Wheels

To bring some fun to the streets of West Palm Beach, the DDEC team organized a light-hearted “Carpool Karaoke” experience abroad MiCa. Residents were invited to hop on, pick a song, and sing along, all while riding in the city’s first autonomous shuttle. By turning a ride into an experience, we helped raise recognition about MiCa’s purpose and got the community excited about the future of transportation.

MiCa in Motion: Efficient, Electric, a Cleaner Future

Operating on six downtown routes, MiCa runs from 9 A.M. to 1 P.M. then returns to service from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M. It’s equipped with advanced safety technology, including 360-degree sensors and real-time monitoring, allowing the zero- emission vehicle to navigate safely alongside cars, bikes, and pedestrians. Beyond its environmental and safety benefits, MiCa is a revelation towards a more sustainable transportation system, helping cities like West Palm Beach meet environmental goals.
