Public Workshop #2 Recap: Shaping the Future of Mobility Together
Community input from the first workshop played a major role in shaping the next step. During Workshop #2, residents got to see how their feedback had already started to influence the Mobility Plan and Fee Study for Cape Coral. This event offered updated maps, clearer visuals, and deeper explaination to help everyone have a better understanding on how the plan is evolving.

Project Team Review
The project team provided a comprehensive overview of the mobility plan and associated fee structure. Attendees raised detailed questions regarding specific plan elements including: Transit offset provisions, Multimodal transportation components, and complete streets implementation.
Mobility Fee Presentation
New Urban Concept, John Paul, presented the proposed mobility fee framework, with particular focus on potential discount mechanisms. Key discussion points included:
Developer credit opportunities for offsite improvements
Fee offset provisions when private development contributes to mobility infrastructure
Integration of private investment with public mobility goals

What’s Next
